How to Enter Your Profile
Directory Overview
Our college directory, which features both faculty and staff members, feeds the College of Education & Human Development website and department pages.
We encourage all faculty and staff to review their online profiles regularly to ensure the information is accurate and up-to-date.
All profiles will be edited to ensure they reflect Georgia State University style guidelines.
Directory Instructions
To be added to the online directory, please fill out and submit the form at http://education.gsu.edu/profile-form. Here are some important notes to keep in mind as you work on your profile:
- Be sure to fill out the biography section. If you’re not sure what to write about, start by describing your job responsibilities, previous job experience and any degrees/certifications you may have.
- Attach a high-res photo or a photo sized 300 x 300 pixels to the form before submitting it. If you have questions about your photo, contact Hillary Meister ([email protected]) or Claire Miller ([email protected]). If you don’t have a photo yet, you can still fill out and submit the profile form and e-mail your photo later.
- If you have a CV in PDF format that you want to be added to your profile, please be sure it’s 508 compliant before submitting it.
- If you need help filling out your form, please e-mail Hillary Meister ([email protected]) or Claire Miller ([email protected]).
Georgia State University’s Public Relations and Marketing Communications (PRMC) Office offers professional studio headshots for faculty and staff. View their webpage to schedule a headshot by a Georgia State photographer.
PRMC’s studio is located on the 4th floor of Centennial Hall (100 Auburn Ave. NE, Atlanta). A high-resolution .jpeg photo will be emailed to you for your records.
Please be sure to send that high-res (full size) photo to Hillary Meister ([email protected]) or Claire Miller ([email protected]) to resize and add to your profile.
If you don’t want to use a studio portrait, you can send us a high-res image of yourself — a candid, a photo of you in your office, etc.
The photo should be a high-resolution image that’s professional in tone, in focus and large enough to crop to the standard 300 x 300 pixel size used for faculty and staff profiles.
If you have questions about your photo, contact Hillary ([email protected]) or Claire ([email protected]).
Please note: Once you fill out the form and submit it, DO NOT fill out another form. If you need to change or update your information, please send your edits to Hillary Meister or Claire Miller.
